Just open the  calendar and select the first month, number of months and columns. Select "Show list of public holidays" to display a list of Swiss public holidays for the period shown in the calendar.

You also may hide the form and this text to get a nice calendar for printing.

Notice the handy tool tips while hovering over the dates, showing date and public holiday name or other special days like the days where daylight saving  time starts or ends in Switzerland.

Algorithms to calculate the date of Eastern

References:

Diese Algorithmen habe ich in JavaScript übersetzt. Lassen Sie sich einfach den Quelltext von dieser Seite anzeigen!

These algorithms are coded in JavaScript (look at the source code of this page).

The algorithms return identical results for the period 1900-2099, though Wünsche restricted the valid period to 1901-2078.

Except a single contraint (e==6), the algorithms of Wünsche and Herger are identical - and even return identical results until 2999.

The comparison below shows, that the results from the algorithms of Wünsche and Herger differ by a constant number of days for each century from the algorithm of Lichtenberg, that is always returning a sunday - more feasible for Eastern, isn't it?

Please wait! The following table will be calculated on your PC. On slow machines, browsers some times get out of patience. Let them finish the calculation it they ask for.

Dates are shown as MM-TT and the day of week as number (sunday=0, monday=1, ..., saturday=6).
