GPS Server Download - Version 2.8f
Get your free copy of the GPS Server here. You may use this software on you own risk, it is provided as is. The source code is not yet available. The GPS Server is running on Windows 98/2K/XP, it could also be used on other versions of this operating systems (not tested).
No setup, no registry keys, no banners - just unpack and enjoy!
- Unpack the ZIP file into any folder you like, eg. C:\Program Files\GPS-Server.
- Read the file GPS.INI carefully and adjust it to your own needs.
Download Version 2.8f / 2006-01-12 as ZIP file [1'241KB].
The list of valid COM-Ports (now 1-15) and baud rates (now up to 57'600 bit/s) have been extended.
The runtime library for Visual Basic msvbvm60.dll [1'354KB] is now included, too.
In addition, the GPS server requires Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) [msxml6.msi] to generate HTML documents (gps.htm) dynamically fromt the two XML sources (gps.xml, gps.xsl).
Testdrive the GPS Server! If you don't have a GPS unit, you may connect to

- port: 80
WARNING: my GPS Server is not up all the time. Check that first by downloading a webpage (HTML or XML) with your browser. Or open a telnet session.
